We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a Financial Technology and Operations function within a Corporate & Investment Banking environment in Warsaw.
In this role, you will provide functional support to initiatives focused on data hubs, financial processes, and system integrations, ensuring that technology solutions meet business requirements and deliver value across multiple teams and countries. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into clear functional specifications and ensuring high-quality, consistent solutions.
Your contribution will be essential to support the growth and transformation of financial operations while maintaining robust governance and process standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support to cross-country Data Hub initiatives, including incorporating new products, markets, and financial processes.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for technological solutions.
- Define required functionalities and support the design and integration of applications and services.
- Participate in functional reviews, testing, and certification cycles to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with local and global IT and business stakeholders to implement process and system improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations on complex operational or processing challenges to senior management.
- Identify training or upskilling needs to maintain functional competencies within the team.
- Support end-to-end testing of financial, accounting, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Ensure successful implementation of operational solutions across multiple countries and teams.
Relative Studies
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Masters in IT, Data Science, or Big Data is a plus.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Specialist, or Product Manager in software/financial environments.
- Experience working with multiple organizations and complex, cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of financial products such as Repos, FX/MM, Fixed Income, Lending, Cash Management, and Trade Finance.
- Exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking operations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Masters in IT, Data Science, or Big Data is a plus.
Skills
Functional Skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Understanding of corporate financial processes and operational flows.
- Ability to gather, document, and present business requirements.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish C2 / English C1).

- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Spark) and data platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Excel (advanced level) and modelling languages.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Waterfall).
