A family in Sag Harbor is seeking a reliable, long-term Family Assistant to support household operations, childcare, and day-to-day personal needs. This is a hands-on, hybrid role ideal for someone organized, child-friendly, and dependable, who can serve as a true right-hand assistant to the family. The position is primarily based in Sag Harbor and open to live-in or live-out candidates.
Responsibilities
Provide childcare support for two school-aged boys
Assist with daily household operations and organization
Run errands including dry cleaning, Amazon returns, and grocery shopping/ordering
Handle personal tasks such as gift wrapping and making dinner reservations
Drive children as needed to and from school or activities
Assist with light business support
Coordinate household needs and support existing staff
Maintain a child-friendly, organized, and proactive presence in the home
Qualifications
Highly reliable, responsible, and seeking a long-term position
Child-friendly, patient, and comfortable supporting school-aged children
Strong organizational and computer skills
Comfortable managing both personal and household tasks
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Flexible, proactive, and able to anticipate family needs
