As a Settlement Negotiator, your responsibilities will include, but are by no means limited to:
Negotiate personal injury settlements in both pre-litigation and litigation stages.
Regularly communicate with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers.
Analyze the value of personal injury cases based on medical bills, injuries, and other pertinent factors.
Work closely with attorneys and clients to strategize and implement negotiation tactics.
Maintain accurate case records, documenting all correspondence, conversations, and negotiations.
Uphold the firm’s client-centered philosophy by providing outstanding service and compassion to our clients.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pre-litigation negotiation in a personal injury law firm setting.
Proven track record of successful negotiations with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and medical providers.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Keen attention to detail and superior problem-solving skills.
Strong familiarity with medical terminology and billing, personal injury law, and insurance procedures
Accountable for results
Our ideal candidate will have more than 6 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience.
Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
Candidates must be organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a preferred, but not required.
Some litigation experience is a plus.
