Title: Data Modeler
Location: Hyderabad(Hybrid)
Duration: Full time
Salary: 20-22LPA(INR).
Time : 1pm to 10Pm
What you will be doing:
- Work as a team member to build a data warehouse on Snowflake
- This role will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining data models for database platform and code table changes within the enterprise that support BI, Analytics and regulatory reporting
- Experience with industry standard tools(such as ERWIN, ER/Studio, and/or SQL) to build and maintain conceptual, physical and logical data models to ensure the physical design of the data structures complies with standards, guidelines and procedures recommended for all aspects of data modeling
- Apply rigorous data management principles to model enterprise level Snowflake data assets to build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Develop and employ the technical standards, procedures, and guidelines used to govern data models to implement Data Vault 2.0 framework for Snowflake migration
- Design and develop data mapping specifications to support data migration from SQL Server to Snowflake
- Direct, coach, and guide development teams in applying data modeling techniques and the usage of data modeling and repository tools
- Define ownership, obtain approval, and communicate data models to various audiences
- Ensure consistent enterprise view and usage of data assets
- Working knowledge of Snowflake cloud, Data Vault and Data Pipeline
- Assure compliance to required Corporate standards, procedures, guidelines and processes, including audits
- Assist data integration teams in translating business rules to technical implementation and provide clarifications
- Identify potential design, process and/or system changes to optimize performance, and mitigate risks
What we require from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 0-2+ years of relevant work experience; or a Master’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant work experience
- In lieu of a degree, qualified candidates would require 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working in one or more of these database environments: SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure3+ years in Data Modeling and Analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Ability to think abstractly and translate abstract ideas into tangible logical models
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0
- Experience with Auto and Financial business domain is preferred.
