Ubiminds is assisting a global company, specializes in engineering, selling, and servicing industrial process controls, including control valves, regulators, automated on/off valves, steam conditioning equipment, gas regulators, and related accessories, parts, and traps.
Challenge
We are looking for a IFS Cloud Technical Resource who will be responsible for supporting and enhancing an IFS Cloud environment, combining system administration, configuration, and technical development. This includes managing users and system performance, customizing business processes and interfaces, and building integrations using PL/SQL and APIs. The role requires close collaboration with functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Administration (System Admin)
- Manage users, roles, and permission sets, including projection-level access and periodic access reviews.
- Oversee background jobs, schedules, print agent queues, and workflow triggers.
- Monitor IFS Connect traffic; troubleshoot queues, routing rules, and message errors.
- Support data migrations using Data Migration Jobs, Excel data loads, and projections.
- Triage performance and system issues; collaborate with IFS Support on root-cause analysis.
- Review logs (server, Connect, event) and maintain runbooks/standard operating procedures.
Configuration (Functional–Technical)
- Build and maintain Custom Fields (CF), Custom Entities (CE), Custom Pages.
- Use Aurena Page Designer for UI layout changes and page customizations.
- Configure lobby pages, KPIs, dashboards, and notifications.
- Maintain workflows, business rules, statuses/lifecycles, and module parameters (e.g., inventory, procurement, finance, projects—per scope).
- Configure report data sources, business reports, and print agent settings.
- Set up and manage REST API access for integrations.
Development (Technical)
- Develop/maintain custom projections, events (DB/projection), and server-side logic.
- Create or extend REST/SOAP APIs and integration transformations/routing in IFS Connect.
- Support server-side logic in PL/SQL.
- Design and maintain reports using IFS Report Designer; support legacy Crystal/SSRS where applicable.
Quality, Security & Compliance
- Validate APIs and integrations (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI).
- Maintain documentation (technical specs, design decisions, integration maps, test plans).
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in IFS technical roles, with hands-on IFS Cloud experience (Aurena, projections, APIs).
- Proven experience with PL/SQL
- Strong skills in IFS configuration: CF/CE/Custom Pages, workflows, lobbies/KPIs, report configuration.
- Practical experience with IFS Connect, REST/SOAP integrations, and troubleshooting message flows.
- Proficiency in reporting (IFS Report Designer; familiarity with Crystal/SSRS a plus).
- Excellent communication; able to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience across multiple IFS modules (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Finance, Service).
- Experience working with IFS Support
