We’re looking for an aspiring Associate Product Manager to who is ready to build foundational product management skills to join our Cashback Card team. You’ll support the entire software development lifecycle—from early discovery and definition to Go-To-Market planning and post-release support, while taking ownership of individual features.

You will join the Technology & Product team, specifically focusing on our unique Cashback Card product. This product helps customers save on everyday shopping to lower their monthly bills, currently earning users over £12 million in cashback annually. You will work closely with a senior product manager, developers, and stakeholders to deliver features that reinforce our brand promise of simplicity and a fantastic user experience and increase take up for the Cashback Card product.

As an Associate Product Manager, you are responsible for the tactical execution and delivery of individual features within monthly horizons. You will help significantly increase our active cashback card user base by:
- Driving Impact & Outcomes: Supporting tactical execution and tracking metrics for adoption while building a deep understanding of the product lifecycle—from acquisition and onboarding to in-life usage and referral.
- Defining the Journey: Creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, leveraging data fluency and UX research to improve customer engagement and ensure technical quality.
- Iterative Delivery: Facilitating team ceremonies and tracking status, helping to scale back-office operations through an experimental approach and making efficient, reversible decisions.
- Operational Excellence: Proactively managing stakeholders and internal communication, providing clear documentation and regular updates to align tactical work with the broader product strategy.
- Customer & Market Insight: Gathering customer feedback and market data to build expertise in the payments landscape, participating in user interviews to ensure every change reinforces our brand promise.
- Key Strategic Projects: Conducting research to engage inactive customers through activation tests, re-evaluating the customer proposition, and ensuring features are robust and in line with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
We need someone who is proactive, analytical, and eager to learn, with the drive to track metrics and maintain team momentum. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in product support, business analysis, or a commercial role
- The ability to analyse complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- A basic understanding of Product Management methodology and Scrum.
- Knowledge of commercial concepts like costs, revenues, and customer metrics.
- A customer-centric mindset and curiosity regarding user feedback.
- Experience or knowledge of regulated financial products is highly beneficial.
