Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Integration Engineer to join our Enterprise Technology & Innovation (ET&I) team.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of integration solutions connecting internal and client-facing systems, applications, and data sources. You will work with APIs, cloud services, middleware platforms, and enterprise tools to help ensure seamless data flow and reliable business operations.

You will report to the Integration Engineering Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams across Valiantys.
What You’ll Be Working On
Integration Design & Development
Support the design and development of integration solutions connecting systems, applications, and data sources.
Work with REST and SOAP APIs, cloud services, and integration platforms such as Workato, Boomi, Celigo, or Zapier.
Assist in building scalable, reliable, and maintainable integration workflows.
Contribute to technical designs and integration documentation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Help identify opportunities to improve integration tooling and operational efficiency.
Operational Enablement & Support
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging integration-related issues.
Monitor integration performance and support proactive identification of risks or bottlenecks.
Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and contribute to smooth operational delivery.
Participate in maintaining reliable and secure integration environments.
Project & Stakeholder Collaboration
Deliver assigned tasks on schedule and with a high standard of quality.
Work closely with ET&I teams and business stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.
Communicate technical concepts clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute to clear and structured documentation for integrations, tools, and workflows.
Continuous Learning & Innovation

Participate in internal training and certification opportunities.
Research innovative solutions that improve scalability, automation, and reliability.

Do You Have What It Takes?
This role is ideal for someone with an early background in integration engineering, software development, or systems connectivity who is eager to grow their technical expertise in a fast-evolving environment.
You should bring
1+ years of experience in integration development, architecture, or technical solution design.
Experience with integration platforms such as Workato, Boomi, Celigo, and/or Zapier.
Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, web technologies, and integration protocols.
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python.
Understanding of APIs, middleware platforms, and data transformation concepts.
Awareness of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
A proactive mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Bonus if you have
Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Oracle NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, Jira, or other SaaS applications.
Knowledge of integration patterns, API lifecycle management, and authentication methods.
Relevant certifications in integration technologies or cloud platforms.
Exposure to Atlassian products and ecosystems.
Languages & Location
Fluent in English (company-wide working language).
This is a fully remote position based in Senegal, with optional access to our Dakar office.
