What Makes Us Special Our EMEA Aftermarket Team is at the forefront of pharmaceutical and
microelectronic water quality certification. We’re the industry leaders in detecting water contamination
through total organic carbon (TOC) analysis, ensuring the highest quality standards for pharmaceutical
and semiconductor processes.
SIEVERS Analyzers and Instruments
• Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzers: M9/M5310C: Latest
generation analyzer for lab, online & portable TOC analysis M500/M500e: Online TOC analyzer for
regulated industries like pharmaceutical or microelectronics Boron Ultra: provides highly sensitive, real-
time monitoring of trace boron levels in ultrapure water systems, specifically designed for
semiconductor and microelectronics CheckPoint: portable, real-time TOC sensor that provides rapid
measurements for spot-checking on water systems TOC-R3: high-temperature combustion analyzer for
TOC and Total Nitrogen measurements, for challenging industrial and environmental samples InnovOx:
for challenging industrial and environmental TOC samples, featuring innovative Supercritical Water
Oxidation (SCWO) technology
• Bio Analyzers: Eclipse: Bacterial monitoring system for pharmaceutical
water Soleil: compact bioburden analyzer for monitoring critical points in water systems
Your Role As a Field Service Engineer based in Italy, you’ll:
● Lead and execute installations and validations of cutting-edge Sievers analyzers
● Conduct precise maintenance and calibration at customer sites
● Perform timely repairs and on-call duty for urgent requests
● Manage technical documentation and customer relations
● Provide expert technical support
● Train and mentor new team members
A typical week as a Field Service Engineer involves Monday morning administrative tasks like email
management and shipment tracking. The workdays are primarily spent traveling to customer sites
performing maintenance and repairs. After completing on-site work, which can endure over multiple
days, service protocols are promptly sent to customers. Throughout the week, phone support is
provided for minor troubleshooting for customers, while also planning future service visits and
coordinating necessary parts shipments. Regular team meetings are scheduled between site visits to
discuss ongoing projects (like Salesforce Testing, Document review, etc.) and support needs. Fridays are
often dedicated to home office work, completing administrative tasks, finishing training, or handling
last-minute repair requests. The role combines technical hands-on work, customer service, planning,
and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Italian work permit or EU citizenship
• Engineering, chemistry, or laboratory background
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Valid driving license (B)
• 5+ years of TOC analyzer experience
• Laboratory equipment troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Leadership experience
• Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
• Salesforce proficiency
• GMP knowledge
• Role requires up to 80% travel and approximately 50% overnight stays
