VERSES

VERSES was founded in 2018 as a software development company focused on cognitive computing. We build intelligent software systems based on scientific principles. Our flagship product is Genius, an agentic enterprise intelligence platform. Genius helps machine learning researchers, engineers, and data scientists make reliable domain-specific predictions and decisions in complex, uncertain environments.

The Genius platform offers a drag-and-drop interface for Bayes Nets, guided workflows, and tools to build domain-specific models. Users can upload CSV datasets and export models as JSON. Genius supports continual learning, explainability, and visualization of inference, along with automated binning and graceful exception handling. It includes tooling for causal models using Active Inference, enhanced inference and learning with Bayesian inference mechanisms, and user enablement for simplified deployment, tutorials, and examples.

Genius is enterprise-ready, with features for user, license, and agent management. It is also developer-friendly, offering an SDK, APIs, and customer support. The platform is designed for easy installation and use, including Kubernetes containers for deployments. Agents powered by Genius act as intelligent interfaces to various knowledge repositories, systems, devices, and other AI/ML models. We aim for predictions that are reliable (with confidence scores), explainable (with transparency), and sustainable (requiring less compute and retraining). Common use cases include risk assessment, fault diagnosis, recommendation systems, predictive maintenance, optimization, and resource allocation.

We plan to release several new features in Spring 2025. These include usability improvements to the Genius Model Editor, a model wizard, and support for POMDP, Markov Decision Process, and Discrete Bayes Net models. We’re also adding continuous learning, latent/hidden variables, model validation, and enhanced inference. The Customer Portal will be updated for more robust account administration and user analytics. Genius Hosted Services will become our primary deployment model for most users. VERSES has offices in Canada, Europe (The Netherlands), and North America (Los Angeles, CA).
