Job Description
Role Overview
Be part of Version 1’s Managed Services team as an Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant with a focus on Reporting technologies. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in Oracle’s reporting technologies like BIP, OTBI, FRS, OAC, FDI, and customer support, ensuring our enterprise clients receive actionable data and seamless reporting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including app-driven, scheduled, and file-based integrations.
- Build integrations with REST and SOAP services connecting Oracle Fusion Cloud and other platforms.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide day-to-day support for live integrations.
- Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitor OIC flows for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with functional teams and clients to analyze integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud tools.
- Build custom and ad hoc reports for Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) modules, based on customer requirements.
- Support and troubleshoot issues in reporting solutions for live business environments and provide end-user support for report-related queries.
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize report performance, manage data extract processes, and ensure data integrity through testing and validation.
- Create and maintain documentation for developed reports, data models, and workflows.
- Participate in Oracle Cloud quarterly release impact assessments relating to reports and analytics.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud technologies and reporting technologies like BI Publisher, OTBI etc
- Experience developing data extracts using BICC, FBDI, HDL, and other Oracle Cloud data interfaces.
- Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and building analytical reports or dashboards for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
- Familiarity with the Oracle Cloud data model, subject areas, and reporting security configurations.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules, interface tables, and data mapping logic.
- Proven troubleshooting ability and a methodical approach to report optimization and validation.
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub), CI/CD processes, and technical design documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting managed services environments and handling user support tickets for reporting.
- Exposure to Oracle SaaS/ERP data integrations and migration strategies.
- Knowledge of security best practices for reporting and sensitive data outputs.
- ITIL process knowledge is a plus.
Communication & Teamwork
- Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple reporting requests and manage deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to document and share knowledge with colleagues.
