Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic developer of large scale digital & data solutions. You will join a team delivering a wide variety of projects to several different Version 1 customers.
The ideal candidate will have a experience in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large scale organisations. We are seeking someone with developed technical skills combined with an ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders to play an important role in developing and delivering data solutions.
You will ideally have experience in building these solutions using a variety of tools & services, and a track record in delivering high quality work.
Qualifications
Key qualifications and experience:
- Experience building data solutions using ETL / ELT tools.
Experience with 5-7 Years
- Experience in data analysis or relevant working experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Expertise in SQL, including query optimisation, window aggregate functions and stored procedures. Experience in metadata driven processes advantageous.
- Experience with data processing using Python.
- Direct experience of Snowflake & Amazon S3 advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex concepts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- General knowledge of business processes, data flows and the quantitative models that generate or consume data.
