Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead Software Developer with over 10 years of expertise in React and AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading software development projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed, and driving innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable software applications using React front end.
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical leadership and support to ensure best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide innovative solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
- Drive the adoption of Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (10+ years) working as a Lead Software Developer with a focus on React front end development.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles and software development best practices.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript libraries.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical domain industry is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and others relevant to application deployment and maintenance is desirable.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
