Job Description
Are you a DeviantArt user and an artist yourself, who eats, sleeps, and breathes the social media landscape? Do you have an innate understanding of what makes content impactful, and a knack for creating it? We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated individual who can be the visible face of DeviantArt: a creative powerhouse who can manage strategy, production, and execution all at once.
This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You will be on camera, leading projects, traveling to events, and interacting directly with our community and the broader creative world.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
In your day-to-day, you will: Act as a brand ambassador for DeviantArt’s video content, serving as the main host and personality for platforms like TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube.
Create engaging, platform-specific content, including shooting, editing, scripting, and sound design for short-form video (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels).
Help define the strategy and own the execution of all major social channels (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Bluesky, Reddit and more).
Start, own, and manage creative projects from concept to completion, demonstrating both creative vision and strong project management skills.
Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar.
Analyze performance metrics and use insights to refine and improve content strategies.
Represent DeviantArt at live events, conventions, and creator dev meetups, traveling to be our brand ambassador.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field.
Advantage- Active DeviantArt user with a deep understanding of our community’s history and creative spirit.
Proficiency in video production, including editing, scripting, and sound design for small-scale, high-impact productions.
Expertise in data reading, visualization, and analysis to inform strategy.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and native platform best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and project management skills for collaborating with artists, team members, and other stakeholders.
Charismatic on-camera presence with a genuine passion for digital art and the creator community.
Willingness to work remotely with teams in multiple time zones around the world
English Proficiency: Native English speaker (English as a first language) is required.
