THE ROLES

We are hiring three Senior Full-Stack Engineers to join our cross-functional team pillars (which include Commercial Optimization, Product Innovation, and Tech Scale). Please note that specific pillar placement is not guaranteed and may vary from time to time based on business needs.

We are advertising broadly for full-stack developers, but are actively seeking candidates with distinct front-end or back-end specialisms to fulfill three specific profiles:

1. Balanced Full-Stack Developer. Comfortable splitting impact ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ across C#/.NET and modern TypeScript / React
2. Back-end focused Senior Developer. Deep C#/.NET and Azure SQL expertise with front-end awareness
3. Front-end focused Senior Developer. Strong Modern React/TypeScript specialization to lead UI architecture and frontend modernization while collaborating with backend systems. Migrating legacy patterns through TypeScript into component-driven React

During the application review, we will evaluate your individual background against all three specialist tracks to find the best fit for your technical strengths.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical depth and delivery. Deliver high-quality features across the full stack (or front-end/back-end focus areas). Make independent technical decisions, consider architectural knock-on effects, and write clean, thoroughly tested code
• Migration and modernization. Help steer key initiatives—whether migrating C# services to .NET 8, optimizing Azure SQL performance, or converting legacy UI modules into scalable React components
• Technical debt and architecture. Identify and raise technical debt, author technical proposals on complex tickets, and champion quality standards
• PR reviews and mentorship. Provide constructive code reviews, pair with mid-level engineers, unblock colleagues proactively, and guide standard methodologies
• Collaboration and strategic AI. Work closely with PMs, Designers, and Marketing to shape what gets built, not just how. Strategically utilize and critically evaluate AI tools to accelerate delivery without compromising quality

REQUIRED

• Minimum 5 years of progressive, professional software development experience

• Technical core:

  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, OR
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (with web accessibility/WCAG experience for FE-focused candidates), OR
  • Broad comfort working across the full stack and adapting to where team focus is required

• Data and cloud. Experience with relational databases (SQL Server / Azure SQL preferred)

• Engineering standards. Proven experience conducting thorough PR reviews, mentoring mid-level engineers, and working within Agile/SDLC frameworks

• Education. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Remote setup. Candidates must have an existing and suitable remote workstation setup

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience with React component library design systems or component-driven migration

• Hands-on experience with Azure Ecosystem (App Services, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps)

• Experience with Entity Framework Core or backend performance optimization

• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, front-end performance monitoring, or testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)

• Prior experience in the EdTech sector

• 30 days’ holiday per year (inclusive of UK bank holidays)
