Workstate is hiring a Mid-level Backend Developer! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems that drive our applications and services. If you are an experienced developer passionate about building scalable backend solutions and delivering high-quality code, you’ll be a great fit for our team.
We are looking for someone who can engage with and motivate our clients while diving deeply into backend development and envisioning future enhancements. Our consultants are quick on their feet and committed to driving quality results for our clients.
Residents of Colombia with the right to work in that country are eligible for this role.
The ideal candidate will typically have 3-5 years of professional experience and have demonstrated many of the following skills:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go
- Strong experience with backend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Django, .NET)
- Hands-on experience with databases (both relational and NoSQL) and data modeling
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment
