In this role, you will take ownership of the development process for cutting-edge Android applications using Java and Kotlin. You will guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, conducting code reviews, and making architectural decisions. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure the design and implementation of user-centric features while optimizing application performance.
This is a full-time remote position available to legal residents of the United States with the right to work for any employer without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- 5-7 years of professional Android development experience, with a strong expertise in Java and Kotlin
- In-depth understanding of Android SDK, design patterns, and mobile application architecture
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries
- Strong proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and team collaboration
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong communication skills to relay technical concepts
