We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to support operations of our logistics client. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quick to learn, and comfortable working with complex datasets in Excel. This role involves extracting data from Transportation Management System (TMS), cleaning and organizing it, and generating meaningful reports and dashboards that will drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull data from the company’s TMS system (in .csv format) and import it into Excel for analysis.
Create and maintain pivot tables, dashboards, and reports to track business metrics.
Perform data mining and isolate key performance metrics.
Provide accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support logistics and operational teams.
Collaborate closely with the IT Director to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
Identify trends and propose new reports, KPIs, or business actions based on data analysis.
Contribute to process improvement by recommending advanced tools or methods (SQL, Power BI, or similar) to enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
Experience with data mining, metric tracking, and report generation.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, quickly learn new systems, and adapt to changing business needs.
Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation data is preferred.
Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other advanced reporting/analytics tools is a plus.

Work schedule: Mon-Fr 8 am — 5 pm EST for probation period, after — flexible
