We were founded in 2003 to make prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses affordable and accessible online. We offer a wide range of frame styles and lens options, including Blokz® for blue light defense, 100% UV protection, EyeQLenz™ for infrared, UV, and blue light protection, impact-resistant lenses, and night driving clarity lenses.

We launched as the first online-only eyewear site in 2003, offering glasses for as little as $6.95 by 2005. We introduced Virtual Try-On in 2007 and Blokz® lenses in 2016. We’ve become the official eyewear for several sports teams, including the 49ers and Bulls (2018-2019), Boston Celtics and Columbus Crew (2023), and Major League Pickleball (2025).

In 2020, we donated over 2 million PPE items and opened a facility in Ohio. We introduced EyeQLenz™ in 2024, and by 2025, we had sold 70 million pairs of glasses. In 2024, we were recognized with the Retail TouchPoints Award for Best Brand Experience, earned the USA Today Champion for Top Customer Service, and were named Newsweek’s #1 Eyewear Retailer. We offer flexible payment options like PayPal Pay in 4, Affirm monthly payments, and Afterpay Pay in 4.

Our mission is to make quality eyewear affordable and accessible to everyone. We also aim to expand access to vision resources, screenings, and glasses in communities that need them most.

Our team currently consists of 1-10 employees. We focus on customer satisfaction, providing care to ensure a smooth and easy experience. We emphasize making shopping enjoyable, offering efficient service, and providing real support to our customers.
