Molecular Assemblies, Inc.

Enzymatic DNA synthesis for long, high-quality, sequence-specific DNA.

About Molecular Assemblies, Inc.

We are Molecular Assemblies, Inc., a life sciences company founded in San Diego in 2013. We are now part of TriLink BioTechnologies.

Our patented Fully Enzymatic Synthesis (FES™) technology uses natural enzymatic processes to synthesize DNA. This method allows us to produce long, high-quality, sequence-specific DNA reliably, affordably, and sustainably.

FES™ technology has a 99.9% step-wise incorporation efficiency, creating highly accurate oligonucleotides up to 400 bases. This process eliminates the need for post-synthesis purification and speeds up the delivery of pure DNA. FES™ can also synthesize sequences traditionally considered “difficult,” such as those with high or low GC content, long homopolymer stretches, and repetitive elements. We achieve this by operating at optimized temperatures (up to 70C) and a neutral pH environment.

Our technology applies to various industries, including industrial synthetic biology, precision medicine, nanomachines, bio-based electronics, clinical medicine, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food, therapeutics, vaccines, immunotherapy, and nanotechnology. We focus on areas like DNA, CRISPR, CAR-T Therapy, Diagnostics, AgBio, SynBio, Synthetic Biology, Gene Editing, Genetic Medicines, DNA Data Storage, and Cell Therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What core technology does Molecular Assemblies utilize?

Molecular Assemblies utilizes its patented Fully Enzymatic Synthesis (FES™) technology, an enzyme-based process that synthesizes DNA similarly to how nature makes DNA.

What are the key benefits of Molecular Assemblies' DNA synthesis technology?
