About the role
The Account Manager role is critical in nurturing new opportunities and existing accounts across APAC to drive achievement of expected, and add incremental new streams of ARR, across your portfolio of clients.
This role requires a sharp commercial acumen and an eye for opportunity, as you will be expected to identify – and act upon – mutually beneficial opportunities across our growing client base.
Having an ability to collaborate seamlessly with a disparate ecosystem of people is crucial for this role – both within 10x, and within our client base. You will need to liaise with decision makers on the client side, alongside liaising with the business development, delivery, product, finance and legal teams within 10x. Having the ability to gauge the right style to communicate to these different groups in needs to be instinctive to you, we can support you, but you will act as a key pivot point for many people – and need to enjoy that.
Reporting into the VP Sales this role is at its core a revenue generating role, and the ability to deliver that revenue target needs to be allied with superb interpersonal skills which allow you to oscillate between internal stakeholders through to C-Level client contacts.
About you
You’ll need to have proven experience in a revenue generating role within the FinTech sector, and be able to demonstrate how you have aligned disparate stakeholders to move through a sales process
You’ll need to demonstrate where you have gone about identifying a Client’s pain points, and matching those with the product benefits of the organisation you worked for at the time
You’ll need to be able to tell us about times when things got tense with Client stakeholders, and how you responded to that to ensure the situation reverted back to an even keel as soon as possible
You’ll need to tell us about how you have gone about liaising with internal product & delivery teams – to ensure Client feedback on existing solutions is heard when it’s pertinent – but also to ensure what was promised to the Client manifests
You’ll need to tell us about when you have assisted with RFP’s, on-site pitches, and what you have learned from those experiences
Key responsibilities:
Be accountable for delivering a portion of 10x’s expected – and incremental – revenue goals on an annual basis, usually in the form of ARR
Be a key pivot point for a varied group of stakeholders both internally to 10x, and within our client base.
Be able to manage relationships from 10x product teams to C-Suite decisions makers within clients
Be able to identify, and act upon, new opportunities within our client base to drive incremental ARR
Gain a very clear understanding of our client base’s pain points, and be able to match those up to our evolving product enhancements
Participate in; constructing RFP’s, negotiations and on-site pitches across our existing client base and prospective clients
Nurture existing clients relationships to ensure expected/committed revenue is realised
Establish the right feedback loop with the business development & product teams at 10x to ensure that market developments and client requests are fed into the product backlog where appropriate
Ideally you will have…
Account Management experience within banking technology
Proven experience of carrying, and delivering to, expected and incremental revenue targets
Superb interpersonal skills, demonstrable across varying levels of stakeholder
Consultative approach to business development
Inquisitive problem solver with a keen eye for an opportunity
Experience participating in RFP/pitch processes as part of a team
Knowledge of core banking systems or cloud native technologies are an advantage, but not a necessity
