We are currently looking to hire an Account Manager to join our Corporate Team in Kirkland, WA!

*We are seeking candidates who are based in or able to work from Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, and Washington, DC. This position allows for remote work arrangements from Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, or Washington, DC.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a suite of employees supporting Concentric employees - intelligence, security and family offices - by client and skillset to provide consistent engagement, training planning, and security solutions.  The Account Manager will manage staff hiring, timecards, and supervisory oversight of embedded employees, and will cooperate with the Program Coordinator and other Embedded Team Managers to support a consistent program and trackable metrics.  The position will work closely with the Director of Embedded Programs to follow, document, and manage program initiatives, and will engage other company subject matter experts to produce training and team improvements.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in the security or intelligence fields, project management experience, and supervisory experience managing and mentoring relationships with diverse teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and place top-tier embedded employees in client programs; assist in screening and selecting candidates to align with client requirements.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with embedded employees to assess job satisfaction, performance, and well-being.
  • Advocate for employee needs and escalate issues as necessary to HR or management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to embedded employees in the intelligence and/or security fields, assisting them in resolving challenges and navigating issues that arise at the client site
  • Serve as the primary manager throughout the entire embedded employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including timesheet and expense report reviews, managing performance evaluations, and implementing performance improvement plans, as needed
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager between Concentric and client managers, overseeing embedded employees
  • Ensure client satisfaction with talent performance and resolve any concerns regarding embedded employees
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain excellent rapport with clients
  • Support the Director in developing program plans, identifying needs, and preparing new business proposals
  • Facilitate communication between employees, clients, and internal teams to maintain alignment on program goals.
  • Assist in the development of SOPs and guidelines, as required, for the client

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with intelligence analysis, physical security, and/or risk management
  • 3+ years experience in the intelligence or security field
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent professional judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee and client matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing employees placed within client organizations (e.g., embedded consulting, managed services, or staffing models).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and quickly changing environment
  • Adept at learning new software and web-based tools
  • Familiarity with human resource practices
  • Experience standing up or operating a Security Operations Center and providing physical risk assessments
  • Experience applying for and managing security-related licenses
  • Experience serving as a security Compliance Agent, Qualifying Agent, or Armed Principal

The Account Manager is part of the Embedded Program Team and manages a suite of employees supporting security services. The position will manage several small groups of employees coordinated by client and skillset to provide consistent engagement, training planning, and intelligence solutions. The Team Manager will manage staff hiring, timecards, and supervisory oversight of the group, and will cooperate with the Program Coordinator and other Embedded Team Managers to support a consistent program and trackable metrics.  The position will work closely with the Director of Embedded Operations to follow, document, and manage program initiatives, and will engage other company subject matter experts to produce training and team improvements.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in intelligence analysis, project management experience, and supervisory experience managing and mentoring relationships with diverse teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise a suite of employees: run regular employee engagement, ensure compliance with program standards, manage timecards, and run performance improvement plans when required
  • Provide intelligence expertise to engage with employees and troubleshoot team issues
  • Develop training and engagement, including planning internal knowledge sharing and coordinating 3rd party certification as required
  • Act as the hiring manager for all positions within the given suite of teams
  • Maintain excellent rapport with clients when discussing employees and job function needs
  • Assist with quarterly, annual, and one-off client meetings as required
  • Follow Concentric and client onboarding processes to manage a streamlined workflow
  • Support the Director in developing program plans, identifying needs, and preparing new business proposals
  • Assist in the development of SOPs and guidelines for employee engagement

  • Experience with intelligence analysis, open-source research, physical security, and/or risk management
  • 3+ years of experience in the intelligence or security field
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent professional judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee and client matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently
