Your team
We’re the team responsible for everything finance related; we plan, organise, audit, account, and control all finances - and you will too. Our sub teams, accounting, billing, and controlling, might be small, but we have a large impact on Frontify - we handle the money after all. We are a smart and driven bunch, and we come together in a collaborative manner to always ensure Frontify is ready for its next steps.
Your Mission
In this role, you’ll take ownership of specific areas of our accounting, ensuring everything runs smoothly and in line with Swiss laws and regulations. The goal of this role is to continuously grow, gradually taking on more responsibilities from our Head of Accounting and expanding your impact across the full spectrum of financial accounting.
We are looking for an accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (50-80%). Depending on the preferred working rate, you’ll also have the chance to lead and support finance-related projects.
Your responsibilities
- You’ll independently handle the financial accounting, including related administrative tasks (e.g., accounts payable and expense management).
- You’ll assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.
- You’ll support the consolidation according to Swiss GAAP FER.
- You’ll complete tax returns, and handle VAT returns.
- You’ll support auditing and budgeting activities.
- You’ll act as a deputy to the Head of Accounting during absences with regard to Swiss accounting.
Your story
- You’re able to join Frontify fully remote from anywhere in Switzerland – there’ll always be a seat in our offices waiting for you if you want to come by, though.
- You’ve ideally completed a commercial apprenticeship, possibly with further education in finance and accounting.
- You have 3+ years of experience in the financial accounting of a Swiss company (ideally at a SaaS, Saas consulting or tech company).
- You have hands-on experience with ERP tools like Netsuite – and, in general, have an affinity for working with IT products.
- You bring knowledge of both general Swiss and Swiss tax laws with you that allows you to ensure compliance.
- You’re excited to work in an international, high-growth scaleup setting on various projects.
- Your friends would describe you as ambitious, organized, and friendly.
- You speak English and German fluently.
