We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Taxation professional to join our Finance team.
Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Carry out the following activities independently and with the support of a 2 member team:
- Maintain Books of Accounts until finalisation
- Manage AP & AR accounting, analysis and followup
- Payment and filing/returns of TDS, GST and other statutory taxes
- Coordinate with statutory auditors in India & US to complete audit in a timely manner
- Liaise with tax department, banks, external vendors and customers as required
- Support any activities required for financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Special projects such as GST refund application, transfer pricing study
2. Set up & improve the Company’s processes around accounting & taxation
3. Set up & improve our ERP system (NetSuite) to generate financial reports & analysis
4. Set up & improve financial controls in our operations
Qualifications for the Role:
1. Qualified CA with at least 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, ideally with exposure to SAAS & fintech companies
2. Up to 2 years of experience within the audit/assurance team of a Big-4 or comparable large accounting firm is preferred
3. Candidates with experience working with Oracle NetSuite or SAP will be preferred.
4. High-level knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity accounting (US parent co/India subsidiary) would be good to have
5. Strong verbal & written communication skills are essential for this role
