Are you passionate about commercial real estate, great with numbers and know how to take care of details? We are hiring an Acquisitoins Associate to join our team! We are seeking an energetic individual who wants to make an impact in a growing company that is making an impact on the communities it invests in. This newly created position will be fully remote, working with our office in Orlando, FL.
Reporting directly to our CEO, the Associate will be responsible for helping the Director of Acquisitions/CEO on existing and new deals that the company pursues as well as sourcing new deals which they will be expected to take through the acquistions process to closing and aย handoff to Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities
Acquisitions
- Source new investment and development opportunities that meet our target produce type, market and investment return threshholds.
- Conduct market research, site inspections, and due diligence gathering to support underwriting conclusions; AND
- Analyze acquisition and development opportunities with a focus on retail and industrial, (ancillary commercial office, and other real estate asset classes); AND
- Prepare preliminary investment committee packages during the pre-pursuit phase as well as completion of in-depth approval and fundraising packages for final approval; AND
- Create and implement funnels for lead generation through AI, VAโs, and other scalable resources; AND
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to bring awareness to Alakai and our capabilities
Ancillalry Responsibilities
Manage the entitlement and permitting process on new developments
Create SOPโs and frameworks of training for future Analysts
Manage Executive Office Leasing at portfolio properties
Bachelorโs or higher degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
At least 3 years of experience in private equity real estate underwriting and processing commercial real estate transactions or comparable direct transaction experience.
Substantial experience analyzing investments and exerting sound judgement.
Highly proficient with Excel, including the ability to create complex financials models and waterfall analyses.
Professionally persistent and have grace and composure under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where iteration is the norm.
Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research and financial forecasting.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
This position requires strong written, oral and reading English communication skills.
Located within LATAM.
Work Remote Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
