About the Role
dLocal is at the cutting edge of global payments in emerging markets, and our strategic advantage is increasingly powered by Artificial Intelligence and advanced automation. As we rapidly integrate AI across our platform and ways of working, the AI Product Operations Manager will play a critical, hands-on role in ensuring our AI product development lifecycle is as efficient, scalable, and effective as possible.
You will be the architect of operational excellence for our ways of working, helping the product teams streamline how they plan, build, deploy, and monitor products. This pivotal role will empower our Product Managers by reducing operational friction, improving alignment, enhancing our internal tooling, and enabling PMs to focus their strategic energy on innovation and market impact. If you thrive on optimizing complex systems, driving efficiency through automation, and are passionate about the intersection of product, operations, and AI, this is your opportunity to make a foundational impact at a global fintech leader.
What You’ll Do:
- Optimize Product Development Workflows: Design, implement, and continuously improve streamlined product development processes and methodologies, specifically adapting them to the unique requirements and ways of working of dLocal. Focus on clarity, efficiency, and scalability for product teams.
- Tools Configuration & Enhancement: collaborate in the selection, configuration, and optimization of our product management, project tracking, and analytics tool stack. This includes identifying opportunities to leverage AI-enhanced features within these tools to automate routine tasks, provide richer insights, and make them more useful for Product Managers.
- Streamline Planning & Progress Tracking: define, maintain, and evolve our playbook for product planning, roadmap management, and real-time progress tracking that provide clear visibility to Product Managers, engineering, and leadership, empowered by automation and AI, reducing the teams time investment without sacrificing visibility.
- Boost Product Manager Efficiency: Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks that hinder Product Manager productivity. This includes defining best practices for documentation, data collection, templates, and above all usage of AI Tools that simplify common PM tasks.
- Continuously improve the process of Cross-Functional Alignment: Enhance communication and collaboration channels between Product Development teams, Stakeholders, leaders, and the organization in general. Ensure teams align on product goals, ways of working, and provide 360 visibility.
- Knowledge Management & Enablement: Develop and maintain a centralized repository of product operations best practices, playbooks, and training materials. Ensure effective adoption of new processes and tools.
- Performance Analysis & Improvement: Define and track key operational metrics related to product development cycle times, resource utilization, and process adherence. Analyze data to identify areas for continuous improvement and report on the overall health and efficiency of the product organization.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in a Product Operations, or similar operational role within a dynamic technology or fintech environment.
- Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing product development processes and workflows that have led to measurable gains in efficiency and productivity.
- Strong expertise in configuring, customizing, and integrating various product management, project tracking, and analytics tools.
- Proven ability to leverage automation and AI-enhanced tooling to streamline operations and empower users.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to details and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong asset due to our global presence.
