What You’ll Do:
As an Analytics Engineer at Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core data models that power analytics and reporting across the organization. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and analytical thinking, applying engineering best practices to transform raw data from a variety of sources into well-defined, consumable datasets.
- Build clean, well-tested dbt models.
- Investigate, validate, and ensure data quality through testing and monitoring processes.
- Develop scalable ELT pipelines for reporting and analysis.
- Document logic and business rules to promote transparency.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with other engineers to maintain and optimize data architecture for a high-growth healthcare data platform.
What You Bring & How You Qualify
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with complex medical conditions gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:
- 3-5 years of analytics engineering or data engineering with strong SQL proficiency and knowledge of data modeling fundamentals.
- Familiarity working with command line as well as ETL/ELT and orchestration tools such as dbt (preferred) and Dagster.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud-based data warehouses.
- Knowledge of modern engineering best practices, including version control and CI/CD.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and communicate findings and solutions effectively.
- Experience working with healthcare data preferred.
What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)
The role offers a base salary range of $120,000-$140,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors including job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.
