About the Job

We’re looking for a driven Associate Accountant to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on inventory and general ledger transactions.

The US-based salary range for this position is $72,000 to $100,000. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute monthly accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e. journal entries, allocations, accruals, adjustments and reporting)
  • Proactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes including follow up on action items related
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly financial results compared to budget and prior period actual results  including summarize and prepare financials status and transactions (ie, P&L statement) and other necessary reports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally supporting other departments to enhance the financial process and to contribute to other accounting ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Prepare and provide documentation to auditors in connection with external financial audit
  • Ensure proper internal controls, including compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations
  • Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting
  • Team oriented, highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a high growth environment
  • Ability to manage work and solve problems independently
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Experience working in a public company a plus
