Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (Telehealth)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Bilingual (English-Spanish) Virtual Medical Assistant to support our telehealth practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, facilitating communication between patients and providers, and managing basic administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use telehealth platforms efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service to patients
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage telehealth appointments
  • Serve as a bridge of communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish
  • Use and maintain the Tebra platform for patient records, appointment scheduling, and data entry
  • Assist patients with navigating the telehealth system and troubleshooting basic tech issues
  • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information
  • Handle other administrative support duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
  • Experience in a telehealth or medical administrative role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new platforms
  • Experience using Tebra or similar EHR/telehealth tools is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach
