akirolabs is a procurement technology startup seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive the growth of their procurement software solutions. The BDR will be responsible for prospecting and lead generation, qualification, solution presentation, activity management, and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Some experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, ideally in the SaaS or software industry
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions and procurement processes is a plus
- Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools
- Proactive and results-driven mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Deep desire to understand the big picture behind each prospect’s individual situation
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients, including mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses
- Initiate contact and create interest in akirolabs' procurement software using various channels such as cold calls, emails, and social media
- Engage with prospects to understand their specific procurement challenges and needs
- Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) criteria
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of akirolabs' procurement software to potential clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and prospects in CRM system
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and contribute to the development of effective lead generation campaigns
