REQUIRED SERVICE: Business Support VA

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE TIER LEVEL: Junior Levels

MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 10 hours

SHIFT TIME ZONE: EST

SHIFT HOURS: 10-12 PM (initially, and might change per day)

SHIFT DAYS: Monday to Friday

Overview: The company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support a healthcare-focused practice with both administrative tasks and business development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, familiar with healthcare confidentiality practices, and capable of generating qualified leads through proactive outreach and cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient/client inquiries with professionalism
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Process and track blood orders accurately
  • Manage email inboxes, documentation, and patient follow-up
  • Maintain updated and accurate client/patient records
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

  • Conduct cold calls to medical offices, concierge providers, wellness centers, and corporate HR departments
  • Promote Braveheart’s mobile phlebotomy services and set up appointments for owner follow-up
  • Assist in researching and building contact lists
  • Manage CRM updates and outreach logs
  • Collaborate on outreach call/email scripts
  • Earn 3% commission on each client secured through your efforts

Qualifications:

  • Experience in virtual assistance, healthcare administration, or business development (1+ year preferred)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to manage confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and confident making cold calls and handling objections
  • Able to work independently while providing consistent updates and check-ins

Compensation & Perks:

  • Hourly role (rate to be discussed upon interview)
  • + 3% commission for each successful lead turned into a paid client

  • Project/task managers (Trello, ClickUp, Asana)
  • Basic Excel or data entry tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing or automation tools is a plus
