As a Channel Sales Engineer, Public Sector, you will support our U.S. Public Sector customers by partnering with Federal and State-focused Channel Partners and internal Account Teams. You’ll help architect and deliver mission-aligned solutions that solve complex cybersecurity challenges across government environments. This role blends partner-facing technical enablement, pre-sales support, and strategic collaboration to accelerate go-to-market success in the Public Sector.
You’ll lead technical evaluations, deliver tailored demonstrations, and train partner teams—ensuring alignment between Recorded Future’s capabilities and agency-specific needs. This role requires deep cybersecurity knowledge, technical acumen, and experience navigating public sector procurement and compliance landscapes.
What You’ll Do as Channel Sales Engineer:
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to support Public Sector-focused Channel Partners (VARs, integrators, and strategic alliances).
- Engage directly with partners and government customers to understand technical needs and support solutioning efforts.
- Lead product evaluations, proof-of-value projects, and integration planning.
- Design solutions that align with government use cases, compliance mandates, and partner strategies.
- Deliver impactful product demos and briefings tailored to public sector audiences.
- Train partner presales and delivery teams on Recorded Future’s platform and integrations.
- Promote technical adoption across threat intelligence, SOC, and mission support teams.
- Solve analytical, operational, and integration challenges in complex government environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Intelligence Services to optimize partner enablement.
- Travel as required within the U.S. (up to 50%).
What You’ll Bring as Channel Sales Engineer:
3+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Consulting role—cybersecurity or threat intel experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting or enabling U.S. Public Sector channel partners.
Understanding of government procurement models, FedRAMP, and public sector compliance requirements.
Familiarity with key technologies:
- SIEM
- DFIR
- Threat Intelligence
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Operations
- APIs and integrations
Track record of leading demos, POCs, and technical enablement for government or regulated industries.
Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
Ability to build trust with partner engineers, agency technical leads, and decision-makers.
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
