About the Role
The Chief of Staff, reporting directly to the CEO, acts as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring the seamless execution of business priorities. This role is responsible for overseeing company-wide strategic planning, optimizing operations, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. By identifying risks, streamlining processes, and facilitating collaboration between departments, the Chief of Staff enables sustainable growth and operational excellence. This position plays a key role in problem-solving, decision-making, and talent development, ensuring that the organization remains agile, competitive, and well-positioned for future success.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO ensuring business strategies align with company objectives.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and oversee the execution of long-term strategic initiatives, integrating corporate vision with operational execution.
- Develop and oversee strategic planning processes, supporting annual and quarterly business planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor key business metrics, market trends, and organizational performance to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, revenue risks, and strategic gaps, implementing proactive measures for business continuity.
- Partner on pricing strategies, financial modeling, and new revenue channel development, collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Product teams.
- Optimize internal operations through automation, analytics, and technology.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and agility while ensuring alignment across teams to maintain operational excellence.
- Align business operations with marketing, product, and sales strategies to maximize customer engagement and market impact.
- Drive integrated strategies that enhance brand positioning, optimize resource allocation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- Ability to work 1-2 days a week in the San Francisco office.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree in Business, Sales, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, or a Chief of Staff role.
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally in a corporate, technology, or global operations setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong ability to work with senior executives and key stakeholders to drive company-wide initiatives.
- Deep understanding of revenue forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and profitability optimization.
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with business goals.
- Ability to lead through change, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new initiatives.
- Ability to exercise good judgment.
- Basic technical skills and computer literacy, including proficiency in standard business applications (i.e., MS Word and Excel; Web, etc.).

What We Offer
The base salary range for this position is $225K to $235K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
