Come join our team as a Clinical Educator where you will report directly to our Manager of Clinical Education.
As a Clinical Educator you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and managing training for MCG clients. You will work as a member of a cross-functional team to work closely with client representatives to plan and deliver customized clinical and technical training. While adhering to industry standards of excellence, you’ll employ various training delivery models to meet the unique needs of each client and all learners.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Successfully complete training available through MCG that supports key job functions
- Partner with clients and internal team to develop customized training plans and perform training needs assessments for requested training deliverables
- Engage clients in the learning process through the collaborative development of annual or on-going training plans
- Monitor team and individual dashboards to achieve adherence to departmental metrics
- Author written training proposals and training case closure summaries to define scope and outcome of training
- Interact with clients to identify opportunities for expanded use of licensed MCG solutions and assess their current operations and recommend workflows that support effective and maximized use of MCG solutions
- Serve in additional roles that support the overall effectiveness of the Customer Success department
- Deliver training on all MCG solutions and formats per established standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Active, current and unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Three years’ experience in healthcare related training or education
- Five years’ experience in utilization management, case management, or disease management
- Extensive utilization management, case management, or disease management experience including experience in health plan operations and/or hospital management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, high-quality training and presentation abilities, and the ability to establish credibility with clients and learners
- Ability to learn enterprise software applications (such as electronic health records systems), and basic MS Word and PPT skills required
- Evidence of ability to engage and educate both external and internal customers
- Ability to travel 60%-80% of the time
- Strong analytical skills to be used when determining client workflow, facilitating logic-based software discussions and troubleshooting implementation issues.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently work remotely including demonstrated evidence of problem-solving skills
- Proven history of collaborative, team-focused approach, and effective time management skills
- Evidence of professional approach to assignments: responsible, independent, efficient, effective, ethical
- Ability to identify potential risks to successful solution implementations and ability to collaborate proactively with other MCG teams to improve success
Extra Credit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Active and current Case Management Certification
- Certified Technical Trainer Professional (CTT+) or equivalent or obtained within 24 months of employment
Anticipated Pay Range: $93,225 - $130,515
Other compensation: Bonus Eligible
