Description:
PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Architect, you will take a leadership role in overseeing a team responsible for planning, configuring, migrating, and enhancing the MEDCHART system within the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.

Required Clearance: Secret w/ability to obtain TS.
Required Education: Bachelor’ s Degree in relevant field.
Required Experience: Eight+ (8+) years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
·Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system, aligned with Government objectives.
·Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
·Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
·Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications.
·Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet project and organizational requirements.
·Develop and execute migration plans for the MEDCHART system to the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.
·Implement robust security measures and compliance controls in cloud architectures.
·Collaborate with software developers to ensure applications are optimized for cloud environments.
Requirements:
·Develop cost models and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness.
·Implement strategies for monitoring and managing cloud expenses.
·Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
·Ensure documentation is accessible to relevant stakeholders.
·Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
·Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
·Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability.
·Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
