Summary
At Shockingly Different Leadership, interns have the opportunity to work alongside the CEO and conference staff for 2-3 month increments, focusing on day-to-day marketing and event logistics/operations planning for an upcoming human resources conference. Preference will be given to individuals interested in careers in marketing, sales, business, public relations, social media, human resources, training/development, or event planning.
Requirements
- Interest in careers in marketing, sales, business, public relations, social media, human resources, training/development, or event planning
- Minimum 10 hours a week availability between 9A to 7P M-F
- Working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Twitter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a solid independent work ethic
- Go-getter attitude and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the CEO and conference staff for day-to-day marketing and event logistics/operations planning
- Execute tasks on the event project plan
- Reach out to ideal attendees to inform them about the conference
- Assist with corporate event planning duties
Benefits
- $500 stipend for the semester
