Job description

We are looking for a Content Writer to help drive all communication for our brand — both in-house and external. This includes everything from Social Media to internal policy documents, blogs, marketing content, case studies, and more. Proximity is a brand with a clearly defined tone of voice, and we value the power of good content. As the first full-time hire on our content team, you will work closely with the People Ops, Social Media, Design, and Technology teams to ensure that every piece of communication we put out is on-brand and high-quality.

you’ll be responsible for—

  • Communicating a consistent brand. You need to understand Proximity’s positioning, adopt our tone of voice, and ensure that everything we put out aligns with it.
  • Working with the People Ops team on all their content requirements. This includes drafting internal policies, HR decks, email templates, and other in-house communication.
  • Working with the Social Media team to create engaging, conceptually sound, on-brand content to post on our social media accounts and blogs.
  • Writing, editing, and proof-reading blog posts for the Proximity Blog.
  • Writing concise, intelligent, engaging copy for our websites and products.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to help draft authoritative, in-depth case studies, pitch decks, and presentations.
  • Ensuring that all content put out by Proximity is good to read, grammatically correct, and free of errors.
  • Helping every Proxonaut put their best foot forward while communicating with clients.

you need—

  • 2+ years of experience.
  • A portfolio of your work.
  • Impeccable English, both written and spoken.
  • A penchant for telling stories and keeping audiences engaged.
  • The ability to write crisp, concise, and flavourful content.
  • The ability to structure content effectively.
  • A quick, curious, creative mind.
  • High standards for the work you ship. We expect high-quality content, attention to detail, and a certain level of polish in everything we put out.
