JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a curious, self-driven Creative to tackle content strategies, copywriting, and content creation for a major online retailer’s always-on organic social accounts. Always-on organic content has always been an integral part of our business, and as our client list and our team continues to grow, we’re eager to bring on people who can elevate the quality and creativity of our offering.

While the unique title on our team is Creative, think of this hybrid role as a Copywriter meets Creative Strategist. In this position, you will be hands-on in the strategic, conceptual, and execution side of the work, responsible for collaborating with the team and coming up with and pitching killer ideas that capture target audiences’ attention and spark engagement. You’ll work closely with the account team to understand client goals and partner with the design and tech teams to bring your creative vision and strategies to life on a daily basis. For this particular retail account, your work will heavily involve influencers and creators, so a deep understanding of the influencer space, as well as social best practices will be needed. A passion for fashion, collectibles, and trading cards is a huge plus!

We believe cultural relevance is essential to successful organic content. For this role, you should have a keen eye for trends on social and behaviors that drive them. You must also have experience working with brands to navigate this landscape, whether that means jumping on trends or creating your own. Overall, you’ll have a strong POV on what makes great organic content and will be comfortable working with and briefing influencers to help bring your concepts to life.

This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, an unwavering curiosity about the latest social offerings, and close collaboration across departments.

You’ll report to one of our Creative Directors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Respond to client briefs and drive creative projects from ideation through final delivery on a high volume of content
  • Build original and compelling concepts that turn a brand vision or campaign framework into real-world executions
  • Live and breathe social media
  • Write accompanying copy for all concepts across all social media platforms
  • Play a key role in production, including influencer and creator campaigns
  • Work with senior leads to establish a cohesive strategic vision rooted in cultural insight
  • Research consumer behavior and trends
  • Create high-caliber work that inspires new audiences and drives engagement and conversion
  • Build decks with impressive narratives and present them in a way that wins over clients
  • Work closely with Design and Account counterparts
  • Ensure we’re taking advantage of the latest tech and most advanced approaches,

as well as expanding into new platforms

  • Assist in new business pitches

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 3+ years of relevant experience within a creative advertising role, including copywriting and/or creative strategy
  • Experience working in a social agency setting
  • Astute copywriting sense
  • Experience concepting for and pitching ideas to influencer and creator talent
  • An ability to be hands-on on multiple projects at once
  • Experience working with leading brands
  • Experience working in production and being on set capturing content
  • Deep knowledge of social platforms + formats (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat)
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns that have made an impact on clients’ businesses
  • A high level of mastery of Google Suite and Slack
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure and get things done on a tight deadline
  • A love for learning and teaching new things
  • A high attention to detail
  • Award-winning work a plus!
  • Passion for collectibles and trading cards is a plus!

The anticipated salary ranges for this position and subsequent locations are listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we’re flexible.
