About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives. You will own the end-to-end strategy for driving new business, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure we exceed ambitious revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to accelerate revenue and market share growth.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships and alliances that align with company goals.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across multiple channels.
  • Research and prioritize new market segments, geographies, and verticals; design go-to-market strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine value propositions and messaging for prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment of growth initiatives and customer needs.
  • Set KPIs, track progress, and provide regular reports to executive leadership on business development activities and outcomes.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team as the company scales.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business development, sales, or strategic partnerships experience, preferably within high-growth startups or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience negotiating complex, high-value partnership agreements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
  • Confident and collaborative—comfortable leading conversations with Product, Sales, and Exec teams.
