About the Role:

As the Director of Sales Analytics & Business Planning, you will be responsible for leading, creating, executing, and implementing data analytic solutions to improve strategic decision making and performance within our Sales organization. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Operations Office and National Sales Director to establish and execute on the overall strategic direction and priorities of the Sales organization through creative, data-informed analytics to generate actionable insights that will inform and influence sales performance, operations, and plans for growth.

This position is a remote role with occasional (10%) travel as needed. At this time, only candidates residing in the United States will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Data Leadership: Leverage data and technology to enhance sales strategy, improve decision-making, and support consult volume goals.
  • Data Analytics Execution: Develop and apply descriptive, predictive, and correlational models to extract actionable insights and define key metrics.
  • Insights & Reporting: Interpret complex data into compelling business narratives and performance dashboards to drive informed action.
  • Performance Measurement: Define, track, and evolve KPIs across the sales organization, including rep activity, conversion metrics, CRM adherence, and provider retention.
  • Territory & Consult Planning: Set monthly consult goals by territory and collaborate with sales leadership to build and refine the annual sales budget and forecasts.
  • Sales Compensation Strategy: Partner with leadership and HR to evaluate, design, and manage compensation plans and variable pay processes.
  • CRM Governance: Ensure consistent and accurate CRM data entry and usage across the sales organization.
  • Organizational Alignment: Communicate strategic updates, risk assessments, and project status to senior leadership and the Board of Directors as well as promote a culture of data-driven practices across the organization.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required

  • Experience:

    • 7-10+ years of experience in strategy, business planning & analytics, budgeting, compensation analytics and/or other similar roles preferrable as part of an organization’s Sales team
    • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear insights that influence decision-making.
    • Experience managing compensation analytics and budgeting processes.
    • Experience with CRM governance, data quality management and process optimization.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency aggregating data from multiple sources, utilizing a suite of tools (Excel/Power BI/Python w/ NumPy and Pandas libraries) to analyze performance, report upon key trends and generate insights – detail oriented and data-driven
    • Strong CRM understanding (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and data visualization capabilities.
  • Communication & Leadership:

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including reporting to senior executives and boards.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; capable of influencing across departments.
  • Strategic Thinking:

    • Innovator with high intellectual curiosity and a results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to identify trends, develop long-term strategies, and adapt plans in real-time.
  • Execution & Organization:

    • Self-motivated, competitive, driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through.
    • Experience in coordinating, monitoring, and adjusting strategic projects and initiatives across a matrixed organization.
