As the Director - People Operations and Analytics, you will lead JMA’s global HR operations and technology transformation and redefine the existing strategy and operating model for HR processes, workflows, policies and systems with keen focus on efficiencies and cost savings. Accountable for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of HR processes and policies and the rationalization of our HR tech stack including the implementation of a global HCM system inclusive of payroll functionality for all current and future JMA locations/employees.
HR Operations & Organizational Efficiency:
Formulate and drive the long-term vision and strategy for global HR operations with a focus on employee experience, efficiencies, cost savings, governance, organizational design, reporting and accuracy for all HR processes including but not limited to:
• Talent acquisition workflow(s)
• New hire processes (including all benefit related activities)
• EE on-boarding and company / position acclimation
• EE lifecycle management (including all system related transactions) such as employee leave, time-off
• Off-boarding (including all benefit related activities)
HR Policies:
Evaluate all people related policies with particular emphasis on relevance, global application and harmonization, cost benefit/savings and implications to the JMA DNA.
Recommendations developed and submitted with particular emphasis on the following:
• Remote work
• PTO
• Immigration
• Cell phone
• New hire welcome swag
• Relocation
• Pre-employment procedures
• Car allowance / benefit
• Tuition assistance
HCM Strategy:
Formulate and drive the long-term vision and strategy for a global HCM implementation.
HR Reporting & Analytics Strategy:
• Develop reporting and HR analytics strategy to include standard and custom reports/queries/dashboards for internal
customers with recommendations / development of deliverables, deadlines, and process owners
• Identify all compliance reporting requirements, develop reporting requirement capabilities, and create a compliance
reporting framework with owners and deadlines
Global Benefits Strategy:
Develop a global strategy, with a focus on market competitiveness and employer cost savings, and direct the planning and administration of effective and competitive health, welfare, and other benefits programs (tuition reimbursement, severance, leaves).
Employee Onboarding:
Develop a robust Global Onboarding program to ensure each hire has a smooth transition into JMA and is properly acclimated into the company.
• Initial area of focus is to enhance the sense of community to connect and be immersed with fellow colleagues across
functions and locations and the foundation company / product/ process knowledge required to assimilate into company and
position more quickly.
Global Training & Development Strategy:
Develop a global training and development strategy to ensure consistent, efficient and agile training programs in the following areas:
• Management Development
• New Hire Orientation
• People Manager Training
• Compliance Training
• Who Hiring method including proper P23 development and reinforcement
Required Skills & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of deep knowledge and experience in at least two of the following: Policy Development, Reporting & Analytics, Training & Development, Benefits Strategy, Employee Onboarding, Talent Acquisition
Location:
- This position can be located in New Providence, NJ, Plano, TX, Chicago, IL or Syracuse, NY. This is a hybrid role and will require an onsite presence.
$150,000 - $200,000 a year
The US national annual base salary range for this is $150,000 - $200,000. The range includes base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the scope and complexity of the role, the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, peer and market data and geographic location. This role will also include a bonus plan.
