You’ll define the core pillars that differentiate Iterable in the market, translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that speaks to both marketers and technical buyers.
In close partnership with Product, you’ll influence roadmap direction and ensure upcoming innovations connect to a broader, cohesive story. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to align messaging across the entire GTM motion.
As a people leader, you’ll coach and grow a talented team of platform PMMs, helping them think strategically, execute effectively, and develop in their careers. You’ll also build the processes that enable platform storytelling to scale - across launches, enablement, and content, while keeping a pulse on evolving customer needs and competitive trends to guide both short and long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Iterable’s platform narrative to clearly communicate value across audiences, channels, and the customer lifecycle
- Define and maintain Iterable’s key platform differentiation pillars — grounded in market dynamics, customer insights, and product strategy
- Partner closely with Product to influence roadmap direction and ensure feature development maps to market needs and messaging priorities
- Develop messaging and positioning frameworks that tie individual features and capabilities to a broader, cohesive story
- Lead the planning and execution of platform GTM initiatives — including launches, enablement, and cross-functional readiness
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to ensure consistent, impactful storytelling across the buyer and customer journey
- Manage and grow a high-performing team of platform product marketers, with a focus on coaching, career development, and strategic thinking
- Build scalable processes for messaging alignment, competitive analysis, launch planning, and narrative development
- Monitor evolving market trends, competitor movements, and customer feedback to proactively shape messaging and influence strategy
- Partner with Demand Gen, Content, and Brand teams to develop compelling materials that support both inbound and outbound GTM motions
Qualifications:
- 8–12+ years of experience in product marketing for SaaS companies, with experience leading platform, ecosystem, or API-driven narratives.
- A proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment across Product and GTM teams.
- Ability to explain strategy and concepts to various audiences, including executives, practitioners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic storytelling skills with a keen sense for crafting cohesive, future-looking narratives.
- A track record of managing and mentoring high-performing marketing teams.
- Proven experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Ability to facilitate executive-level discussions and presentations.
- A balance of long-term vision and hands-on execution.
- Bonus points for: experience in consulting, exposure to B2C or lifecycle marketing, or a reputation as a thoughtful coach and communicator.
Perks & Benefits:

- Competitive salaries, meaningful equity, & 401(k) plan
