Your Role in Our Journey

As Jane continues to grow as a trusted practice management platform, we’re seeking a dedicated Fraud Prevention Manager to build and lead our fraud prevention program. Until now, fraud-related responsibilities have been distributed across several teams. This role represents a pivotal investment in centralizing our fraud strategy to protect both Jane and our customers as we scale.

You’ll play a foundational role in shaping a comprehensive and forward-thinking fraud prevention program that extends beyond transactional risk. You’ll design key controls, implement detection tools, and create training programs — all while working cross-functionally with our Payments, AppSec, and Compliance teams. With a strong blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and deep curiosity, you’ll assess our current state, identify vulnerabilities, and implement scalable, proactive measures to safeguard Jane against evolving fraud threats. This is an exciting opportunity to influence company-wide practices and bring leadership, innovation, and clarity to a critical and high-impact function.

The Impact You Could Have

  • Lead the company-wide fraud prevention strategy
  • Work closely with the Payments, Security, IT, Onboarding/Sign-up and Compliance teams on mechanisms to safeguard Jane against loss events
  • Drive program development as a leader and subject matter expert
  • Design alerts/key risk indicators
  • Monitor for suspicious activity
  • Create and deliver training and awareness initiatives to aid in fraud prevention
  • Track trends on fraud and financial crime
  • Complete risk assessments
  • Design operational metrics for tracking and reporting trends and year-over-year progress
  • Develop and implement ongoing program improvements

The Experience We Feel We Need

  • 5-8 years in progressively senior fraud prevention roles, including management
  • Expertise in data analytics, digital tools and technology platforms relevant to fraud prevention; strong technical skills are an asset, such as the ability to write queries, effectively use AI tools, etc.
  • Proven track record of success building and running effective fraud prevention programs
  • Payment and fraud prevention experience in the tech/software industry, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Professional certifications or equivalent education in fraud prevention, anti-financial crime, compliance and risk management

Compensation & Benefits

At Jane, we’re committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has an annual salary range of $122,000 to $190,500. While that is a large range, it is intentional. It reflects the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to becoming highly proficient and ultimately achieving excellence.

Most new hires join at the accomplished stage, which for this role represents an annual salary of $152,400. A starting salary below this typically indicates a candidate with strong potential who is still developing key skills. Salaries above this usually apply to existing team members who have made a significant impact and bring deep Jane-specific knowledge.

We believe in paying for growth. You’ll have regular career development conversations with your manager and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.
