Zipdev is looking for a Growth Marketing Strategist to join our client’s team!
to lead traction experiments, grow engagement across non-paid channels, and help build scalable systems that attract and retain users. This is a critical role for a scrappy, creative, and independently driven marketer who knows how to test quickly, learn fast, and find what works—even with limited resources.
You’ll work closely with our creative team and freelancers to identify and test creative opportunities for user growth—across organic social media channels, emerging blog and content initiatives, email campaigns to our moderate existing contact list, and partnerships with micro-influencers and creators. You’ll have access to design and engineering support as needed, and report directly to the founder while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Design and launch non-paid growth experiments to drive user acquisition and engagement (e.g., referral campaigns, activation challenges, content funnels).
- Identify and test scrappy traction tactics across platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, Quora, Facebook Groups, and niche content hubs.
- Collaborate with our creative-focused marketing team to launch growth-driven content initiatives across short-form video, blog posts, and social experiments.
- Run email-driven experiments using ActiveCampaign—targeting signups, reactivation, or awareness using our current list of seller contacts.
- Launch and manage a micro-influencer partner program, including outreach, onboarding, and performance tracking.
- Write and iterate on landing page copy, email sequences, and campaign messaging to support testing and conversion goals.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics tied to organic reach, user engagement, and total user signups.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or acquisition-focused roles—ideally in a startup, SaaS, or marketplace business.
- Have led or contributed to real user growth experiments with measurable outcomes.
Are highly resourceful and comfortable launching low-cost, high-velocity initiatives.
- Have strong writing skills and can adapt tone, structure, and CTA style based on the audience or experiment.
- Enjoy operating independently, but thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Are comfortable with basic design or layout tools (e.g., Canva, Notion, or Webflow) and working cross-functionally with creatives and engineers.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with referral or giveaway-based growth campaigns.
- Worked with creators or influencer marketing.
- Familiarity with ActiveCampaign, Airtable, or similar tools.
- Exposure to SEO, blog publishing, or UGC strategies.
Our Recruitment Process
Video Interview
20-minute take-home skills test
30-minute Call with the Recruiter (project, benefits, etc.)
Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include an assessment)
Final Offer
Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
Vacation: 10 business days a year
Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
