TBNR ( T he B est N ever R est) was founded by the trailblazing Content Creator, Preston Arsement (known widely as PrestonPlayz) in 2012 with his first YouTube channel and has been growing nonstop ever since! As a result, in 2023 TBNR was approved by YouTube as the first Creator-owned MCN (multi channel network). Today our MCN, ‘Fire MCN’ gets an average of 30 million views per day and includes the YouTube channels; PrestonYT, BriannaYT, PrestonPlayz, BriannaPlayz, PrestonReacts , BriannaReacts, Keeley, and Daisy and Poppy.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a data-savvy, creatively driven Ideation Strategist to join our Strategy team and help shape the future of our YouTube content across a growing network of channels. This role is all about spotting trends, pitching fresh and engaging on-brand video ideas, and collaborating closely with writers, talent, and channel leads to bring those ideas to life.

You’ll be at the intersection of analytics and storytelling—turning data into high-performing, format-defining content. If you love diving into metrics, brainstorming creative concepts, and helping creators tell better stories, this role was made for you.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor performance data across multiple YouTube channels using tools like Grafana, ViewStats, and YouTube Studio
  • Identify emerging trends, content gaps, and high-opportunity formats within our verticals
  • Pitch compelling, data-backed video ideas to writers, channel leads, and on-screen talent
  • Collaborate with and help lead writing teams by assigning ideas, reviewing scripts, and providing clear feedback
  • Present data-driven insights to cross-functional teams and contribute to creative brainstorms
  • Ensure every concept ladder ups to the brand’s voice and audience goals
  • Partner with strategy team to shape content development playbooks and iterate on what works

CREATIVE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–3 years of experience in content strategy, digital media, or YouTube-focused roles (internship or freelance experience included)
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting YouTube metrics, with hands-on experience using Grafana, ViewStats, and YouTube Studio
  • Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what makes content engaging on YouTube
  • A creative problem-solver who’s also deeply data-driven
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator—comfortable leading brainstorms, giving feedback, and presenting to creative leads
  • A proactive, curious mindset and a passion for digital content and creator culture

Bonus Points

  • Experience working directly with creators or influencer talent
  • Familiarity with thumbnail/title strategy
  • Background in writing or content development
