Arbour Group is looking for a full-time IT Manager to join their client’s organization, a leading elevator and escalator consulting and inspection firm in the U.S.
The IT Manager will oversee all technology-related aspects of an organization, including infrastructure, applications, and network security, while also leading IT teams and managing IT projects. This role will ensure seamless operations, align IT strategies with business objectives, and manage budgets and resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects, including new technology implementations and upgrades.
- Team Leadership: Recruiting, training, and managing IT staff, ensuring their performance and development.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of computer systems, networks, and applications, including working closely with our Manage Service Provider (MSP).
- Budget and Resource Management: Managing IT budgets, allocating resources effectively, and optimizing technology spending.
- Security and Risk Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicating IT strategies and projects to stakeholders, collaborating with other departments to identify needs, and resolving technical issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a resident of the Philippines
- Able to work remotely on a night shift, following US time zone
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or any related field.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Leadership and Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage IT teams.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and how IT can support them.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate future technology needs and develop long-term plans.
