Our DevOps Engineering team plays a critical role in this mission by creating self-service platforms, automating releases, and ensuring exceptional system reliability through cutting-edge monitoring and infrastructure practices.

Responsibilities
· Platform Development: Contribute to building a self-serve platform, learning how engineers deploy, monitor, and manage their services
· Infrastructure as Code: Assist in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Terraform and learn best practices on the job
· CI/CD Pipelines: Support the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines with guidance from senior engineers
· Site Reliability: Help set up monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and participate in improving system reliability
· Security: Learn and apply basic security measures (e.g., IAM, infrastructure hardening)
· Database Management: Assist in managing MySQL RDS and learn how to ensure performance and reliability
· Release Automation: Participate in deployments and gain hands-on experience with GitLab pipelines and release processes
· Linux Administration: Work closely with experienced DevOps and engineering team members to learn how to troubleshoot and maintain systems
· Collaboration: Partner with development teams to ensure the platform meets their needs and evolves with business requirements.
· You’ll be supported by experienced engineers and given hands-on opportunities to grow your skills in real-world environments.
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- A strong interest in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Linux and command-line basics.
- Some experience with git and basic CI/CD concepts (personal or academic projects count).
- Willingness to learn tools like Terraform, Grafana, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Good communication skills in English and Greek.
- A problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to improve things
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AWS or any cloud provider
- Understanding of Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and databases
