Position Overview: As the Marketing Content Manager at Pharos, you will play a critical role in shaping and sharing our story. You will lead the development and execution of our content marketing strategy, help create and define the PrintOps category, and elevate Pharos as a thought leader in secure, efficient, and modern printing solutions.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams—marketing, product, sales, and customer success—as well as external vendors and agencies, to produce high-impact content that informs, engages, and converts. From website and social media content to webinars, case studies, blogs, and campaign collateral, you’ll ensure our brand voice is clear, consistent, and compelling.

You will also own and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned to company goals, continuously optimizing content for SEO/GEO and performance, tracking content effectiveness, and adjusting strategy based on analytics. You’ll champion our voice, promote brand and category awareness, and contribute directly to demand generation and customer engagement efforts. You will be responsible for growing key brand and content performance metrics, including top of funnel website traffic, content downloads and webinar registrations, brand search volume, as well as social media/media generated impressions and engagement.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you’ll help educate the world about PrintOps and help position Pharos at the forefront of this emerging space.

Location:  This is a remote eligible position.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, plus up to 5% annual bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy in alignment with marketing objectives.

• Build and evangelize the PrintOps category, positioning Pharos as the clear leader through thought leadership.

• Create compelling, well-researched, brand-aligned content including blogs, social media posts, customer stories, eBooks, press releases, whitepapers, testimonial content as well as support development of other organizational materials.

• Serve as in-house editor to review and refine internal and external content for clarity, accuracy, brand alignment, and strategic value.

• Develop and own a content calendar that supports campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.

• Ensure the Pharos website consistently reflects the latest updates, content, messaging and news, while regularly optimizing content to improve SEO/GEO, user engagement, and conversion performance.

• Develop and execute organic social media strategies that grow our audience, increase engagement, and drive qualified traffic across various channels, including Quora/Reddit.

• Monitor, measure, and report on content performance across platforms, including website traffic, content downloads, organic growth, social amplification, and campaign metrics.

• Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, external vendors and AI tools to produce cohesive, multimedia content.

• Lead the development and execution of owned and earned media strategies, including PR, speaker opportunities, and contributed articles.

• Act as a champion of the Pharos brand voice, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Content Manager, Copywriter, or similar role in a marketing or digital agency environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of published articles or content samples.
  • Experience in SEO/GEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, social media platforms. AI tool knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and ability to drive content innovation.
