Summary

We are seeking a skilled Remote Nurse or Monitoring Specialist to monitor patients' vitals, determine if they are within normal range, and provide remote physiologic monitoring treatment management services. The ideal candidate should have formal education as a Registered Nurse (RN), strong communication skills in English, and an understanding of disease processes related to vital sign monitoring.

Requirements

  • Formal education as a Registered Nurse (RN), LVN, or LPN
  • Strong verbal and communication skills in English
  • In-depth understanding of disease processes related to vital sign monitoring (hypertension, heart failure, CKD, asthma/COPD, and obesity)
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Assessment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote physiologic monitoring treatment management services
  • Call patients for verbal assessment and health teaching
  • Manage computer/online guidelines for responding to customer queries
  • Coordinate patient care and collaborate with other healthcare team members through electronic medical records
  • Monitor vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range
  • Assess vitals and prioritize based on patient needs
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights in an online environment
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress and respond to alert cases through remote monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience in inpatient settings is preferred
