Job description
We are looking for a Product Analyst Payments who is interested in product management, has a passion for optimization and improvements. In this dynamic role, you will dive into how our Product Managers, Engineers and user-facing teams work, building strong relationships with them and optimizing the tools and workflows used to make our product organization more productive, effective and data driven.
This role is highly cross-functional and will be a critical lever for us to deliver more value to more users, faster. You will join an agile and dynamic team, in a fast moving “scale-up” environment, working alongside with people who value strong execution, sharing and growing together.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design and Payments teams to perform competitor research and investigate new business opportunities
- Contribute to the creation of a Product strategy that ensures effective alignment with the Company’s Payment Product Roadmap
- Analyze and collaborate in prioritizing the product backlog
- Collaborate with the product team to create project scoping processes to provide a clear and complete document explaining the work plan and map out realistic deliverables while keeping project documentation controlled and organized
- Ensure product objectives are fulfilled, deliverables meet requirements and business expectations
- Collaborate with strategic stakeholders for the coordination and implementation of initiatives and proposals related to payments, risk and fraud
- Provide your input and help prioritize the project components and features
- Help produce a release plan that is agreed to be workable by sponsors, customers, developers, managers, and other stakeholders
- Synthesizing and communicating insights during the product development process
- Implement and monitor the appropriate changes in order to optimize the main KPIs within the area and to inform decision-making, product features and experimentation
- Empowering and guiding others to work effectively and efficiently with data is part of your role

- At least 1 year of knowledge of main KPIs of Payments such as: Acceptance Rate, Payment Rate, Attempt Rate, Payment rules, routing, MID, fraud, reporting, among others.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel/Google Spreadsheet
- An ability to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources to identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities and inform product decisions
- Strong product instincts
- Meticulous and attentive to detail
- Must be able to make decisions and exercise good judgment
- Able to anticipate next steps and ask necessary questions
- Good language skills (English and Spanish)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A can-do attitude; you are passionate about solving important problems and you get things done
