The People Operations Associate position at Machinio is the perfect opportunity for someone who is organized, resourceful, and extremely detailed/process-oriented. We need someone who is good at managing spreadsheet operations, tracking various activities and staying on top of numbers and deadlines.

Our products are shaking up the multi-generational machinery industry in the best way. We’re building products that matter in an industry that’s long overdue for innovation (featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Crain’s Chicago Business, Successful Farming, Boating Industry and so on).
Responsibilities:
- Commission reconciliation and tracking.
- Expense management.
- Manual payroll processing for one of our entities.
- PTO/timesheet reconciliation.
- Tracking team milestones + employee gifts.
- Booking travel — hotels, flights, rental cars — for our team.
Requirements:
- Ability to track operational processes, with a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail in working with numbers, particularly in commission reconciliation and expense tracking.
- Comfortable in Google Sheets (that includes formulas, pivot tables, etc).
- Good at cross-referencing and reconciling PTO and timesheets, ensuring alignment between reported hours, leave, and payroll.
- Strong ability to work independently, stay focused, deliver on time and manage multiple priorities with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Our Interview Process (conducted by all four executives that are leading Machinio):
- Step 1 - Phone Interview with the Senior Director of Operations to get to know you.
- Step 2 - Google Meets video interview with our General Manager, to discuss the role further and conduct an evaluation. Compensation is discussed on this step!
- Step 3 - Final interview with our Senior Director of Product and VP of Sales.
